I was very impatient to learn astrology!
Once I'd seen my chart and started learning the concepts, I wanted to know it all, immediately but I couldn't find a fast-track course. The slowness pained me!
My goal is to give you the building blocks to understand your chart & grasp concepts quickly.
To learn the language of astrology so that you can refine and practice on friends and family to your heart's content!
I will provide you with all the resources you need to delineate a birth chart. (Predictions come later.)
When I tried to teach myself astrology, I would get stuck because I didn't know what the books meant by "Houses" what was "Placidus" what are the "Aspects?" all of these things would bamboozle me!
This course makes all the astro terms seem super simple AND you will amaze yourself.
Core Concepts
Modes, elements & signs of the zodiac.
A look at celebrities, characteristics, countries & crystals associated with each sign. This includes an introduction to the nodes. (Pre-Recorded)
Grab your notebook and coloured pens to get clear on the signs of the zodiac and the planets that rule them.
Which signs are Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable?
Which are Fire, Earth, Air and Water?
Which planet is associated with each sign of the zodiac?
It's really important to get clear on these building blocks before diving into the details.
Let's Get Mythical
A deep dive into the planets and their meaning. Meditations for each planet and workbooks to complete. (Pre-Recorded)
MYTH is everything in astrology! When we read astrology charts, we are looking at the respective positions of the planets in the sky.
The planets are Gods and Goddesses in ancient myth.
How did Zeus (Greek) AKA Jupiter (Roman) behave in myth? From those stories we can really understand the astrological symbolism of the planet.
I've devised some meditations for us to really get to know the planets too!
Aspects
A walk through the main aspects used in the horoscope and a discussion of the angles & their importance. (Pre-Recorded)
This is usually the first week that gets everyone really excited!
How do the planets talk to one another via the aspects they make? What is a Square?
Around the Houses
What are the houses? Which house "system" to use? It all depends on what time you were born. This week this concept becomes easy!
Our focus is on how each planet behaves in a house. What additional flavour and tone does it give to your horoscope.
This includes planetary angles, what is rising, what is culminating. By this module you are feeling like an astrologer!
Spotting Patterns
How to put all the different parts of the chart together. Look at the patterns, themes and promise of the chart via well known celebrities (you can offer suggestions!)
So now we have information on planets, nodes, aspects and houses - how do we put all that information together to make sense of it?
Quiz - Jan
A multiple choice quiz where you realise how much you've learned!
Questions to make you realise how much you know now and highlight points that you'd like to discuss again. This is supposed to be fun! I will throw in some random questions to get you thinking.
Following the Moon
FINAL CLASS
A session to run through the steps, answer your questions, look at more charts and introduce how to read the transits from the Sun and Moon to your chart.
Only once you can read the chart on its own is it possible to then understand "where the Full Moon falls" in your chart and fully understand what that means.
We all tend to want to run before we can walk! It's not until you really know your birth chart, how all the planets in your chart talk to one another and what your house cusps are that we can FULLY APPRECIATE what a Full or New Moon means in relation to your chart.
If you've ever read about an upcoming eclipse and wondered, "What does this mean for me?" Then you will love this week, because it's an opportunity to explore the basic transits of the Sun and Moon.
